One beautiful morning on the Mornington Peninsula, I stood beneath the grapevines as the early sunlight filtered through the leaves. The fresh dew drops were sparkling on the grapes like tiny crystals. That quiet, magical moment stayed with me.

Drops of Grapes was inspired by that morning in the vineyard.

Painted on a soft white base using a combination of sponge technique, palette knife, and real mirror glass pieces, this delicate abstract work features gentle blush pinks, lavenders, powder blues, and peach tones. The embedded mirror fragments catch the light beautifully, creating the effect of morning dew glistening on ripe grapes.
